Happy Valentine's Day Lovers!!!

Cleaned!!!
The news deserves yellow. Not sure why. Rose early yesterday and blasted NPR for my favorite Saturday morning programs.....and I cleaned......didn't channel Martha Stewart, didn't think of her at all. I tried not to think much at all.....just enjoyed the process and the sense of accomplishment. More to do and much to my dismay a fine layer of dust has returned. Damn. Ordered a new vacuum....a bagless Hoover......Suze Orman would have denied my request but Macy's willingly obliged. My birthday gift to myself, which by the way is February 17th.

Read Pasteur has re-opened and that is where I will celebrate.....love that place.

Whitney is dead.......poor talented, tormented Whitney.

Was in a sour mood this week, and then I did my best to lift my spirits and trust that work would come. I had an amazing experience with a kind cab driver who waited to turn her meter on and laughed and told me most cabbies don't want anyone to know that driving a cab can be a lucrative endeavor......she waited for me to run my errand and at some point, I said, I needed this....and started to cry. She asked me why I was crying and I told her I felt the presence of the divine. I needed to be receptive and open. I was indeed the fortunate one to experience her kindness and gentle spirit and ride with the divine.

February is here, can't believe it.......much the same way I can't believe what is happening to the mammals in the Florida Everglades. Freaks me out.....seems there are no foxes or rabbits to be found and possums, raccoons and bobcats, bobcats! are rapidly diminishing because of the Burmese Pythons!!!!
Stupid human tricks to dump their overgrown pets in the Everglades when they become too much to handle......they lay about 35 eggs and well they seem to rest high on the animal food chain. Thinking Anna Wintour could declare python bags, belts, shoes the next big thing and the fashion police could wrangle those snakes for their crimes.....think those pythons would enjoy Asian carp?
