memories, news, bread breaking.......Chicago gracious host.

I've mentioned I'm cleaning and most recently I moved my bed and found Invitation to Love - by Paul Laurence Dunbar, which was printed on the wrapper of  a Chocolove Almonds & Sea Salt in Dark Chocolate, candy bar.
It is lovely and worth reciting like my other mantras........I'm inspired to keep cleaning, so nice for this faux archeologist to unearth such lovely treasure.

Morning mantras thanks to Deva Premal's Mantras for Precarious Times......I chanted for the removal of obstacles, abundance, healing and joy and bliss.  Did morning meditation......exercised.....oatmeal for breakfast....paid a bill online......watched the most recent episode of Mad Men and The Killing......contemplating lunch which will include spinach.......vow to do my laundry tonight.

I am also coming to terms to the end of these delicious 50 degee weather days.......annoyed at the prospect of 80 degree days being lauded by weathermen/women who insist on the glories of  the warming "tempachur".

Want to end this short entry with positive thoughts: my cat is still alive, I have an Al Green Greatest Hits cd, I don't need quarters to do my laundry, I have French Roast coffee beans AND cream, I am ready and willing to work, I have great friends, there are things I want, I am willing to sell silver for cash ( I know a bit depressing but...even more depressing I don't have gold....). A lot of the Girl's dialogue makes me laugh out loud.  I amuse myself.
